Job summary

Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking a seasoned accounting professional with 4+ years in Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD to join a leading advisory practice. You will engage with C-Suite stakeholders, handle high-value transactions, and contribute to GAAP/IFRS compliance in a fast-moving environment.

Experience with public filers and strong communication skills are essential; a CPA is preferred and remote adaptability is valued.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters degree preferred.
• CPA certification preferred, open to those in progress.
• 4+ years in Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD in a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• Experience with large, public filers and high-value transactions (Deals/FDD).
• Professional communication with C-Suite executives.
• Self-starter who can work independently or in a team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing tech environments (AI, RPA etc.).

Our client is a large, established Advisory firm that have placed significant capital behind their Accounting & Transaction Advisory sector expansion this year. If you've got a Public Accounting background, but want to expand that knowledge & experience with a firm devoted to developing & progressing their people, this ones for you. Whether you're an External Auditor, with strong Financial Statement experience, or a current Deals/FDD/TAS professional who is a Databook whiz, this firm should be on your radar.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred - will accept those who are in process
• 4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD, within a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred )
