Louisiana Works in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking an Accounting Technician to support the Office of Workers’ Compensation Administration. The role focuses on processing payments, auditing documentation, and ensuring accurate reimbursements under a Special Entrance Rate of $18.90 hourly ($3,276 monthly).

You’ll coordinate with OSRAP and interact with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters. Three years of accounting-related experience or training are required, with substitution rules

Qualificações

• Three years of experience or training in accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, or financial operations or computations.

Responsabilidades

• Input validated payments into the database and distribute with explanations of non-eligible items.
• Audit claim documentation submitted by legal defense counsel.
• Calculate total reimbursement amounts owed.
• Process check requests for legal settlements and maintain reimbursement diaries.
• Coordinate with OSRAP to resolve outstanding check issues and reissue as needed
