Job summary

The William Dillard Department of Accounting in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas seeks applications from interested candidates to fill a non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor position effective August 16, 2027.

A Teaching Assistant Professor is expected to teach eight courses per year with a mix of face‑to‑face and online courses, as needed. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience; benefits are competitive.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in accounting from a nationally or internationally accredited university.
• Evidence of high-quality teaching in undergraduate and/or graduate accounting courses.
• Evidence or potential to provide both face-to-face and online undergraduate and/or graduate accounting courses.
• Must meet standards to be classified as Scholarly Academic under AACSB.

Responsibilities

• Teach eight courses per year with a mix of face-to-face and online delivery as needed.
• Regular on-campus availability and active contribution to the life of the department.
