Job summary

Holthouse, a premier tax, audit, advisory, and business management firm, seeks an Accounting Systems Manager / Senior Manager in Fort Worth. You will partner across tax, accounting, and business groups to translate complex requirements into functional solutions within Holthouse’s Treehouse platform, and to drive data-driven improvements.

In this hybrid role, you’ll lead requirements gathering, testing, data validation, and project implementations while coaching teammates and defining scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting data flow through tax, accounting, and reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with data modeling and issue investigation.
• Experience handling large or complex datasets with data mapping, reconciliation, and validation.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of MS SQL and other programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with tax, accounting, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional and technical solutions within Holthouse’s Treehouse.
• Lead requirements gathering, testing, data validation, system conversions, and other implementation activities.
• Analyze existing tax and accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement.
• Lead projects and workstreams from planning through implementation, managing priorities, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Assist in investigating complex data, system, and business-process issues and coordinate solutions across technical and functional teams.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members while helping establish scalable processes, documentation, and leading practices.

To be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting data and how that data flows through tax, accounting, and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to build data models and investigate complex data and process issues.
• Demonstrated experience working with large or complex datasets, including data mapping, reconciliation, validation, and analysis.
• Highly proficient using Excel; MS SQL and other programming languages a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives from definition through implementation.
