City of New York seeks a Business Analyst in the Financial Systems Group to support the FMS3 accounting components. You will analyze business requirements, investigate defects, and collaborate with technical teams to implement fixes and ensure system reliability.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience with accounting/budgeting software in a large organization. On-site location at 5 Manhattan West, NY, NY.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field and four years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience with accounting/budgeting software and business processes preferred.
• Proven ability to manage enterprise wide applications and deployments.

Mansioni

• Investigate and resolve software issues and defects reported by business users.
• Analyze and document business requirements focusing on accounting functions in FMS3.
• Analyze programming specifications to prepare structure charts or diagrams.
• Collaborate with technical analysts to research problems and assess effort for changes.
• Test software to ensure it meets specifications and identify defects.
• Support business users in processing of business events and run simulations.
