Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, lead staff, manage the month-end close, and support payroll, audits, and tax reporting.

You will collaborate with the Controller, conduct inventory reconciliations, enforce internal controls, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports.
• Proven financial reporting skills, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise staff, answer technical questions, and guide daily workflow.
• Financial Close: Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month-end reports.
• Tax & Compliance: Prepare sales & use tax returns, enforce internal controls, and maintain strict data confidentiality.
• Process Improvement: Analyze financial options, assist with corporate accounting initiatives, and lead special projects.

Schedule: Full-Time, M-F (additional hours as needed) - on-site role

Reports To: Controller

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and partner with our client's Controller. You will lead the accounting staff, manage month-end close, oversee inventory reconciliations, and support payroll, audits, and tax reporting.

• Financial Close: Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month-end reports.
