A leading company in the healthcare sector is seeking a Specialty Accounting Supervisor to manage accounting processes for their Pharmaceutical Segment. The role involves overseeing the month-end close, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive improvements. This role will support our Specialty 3PL & Metro Medical GPO's on the Pharmaceutical side of the business.
What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.The Specialty Accounting Supervisor role will manage the end-to-end accounting processes and drive the timely and accurate completion of month-end close and reconciliation procedures for the Specialty 3PL and Metro Medical related GPO businesses within the Pharmaceutical Segment of Cardinal Health .
