Accounting Specialist - Vendor Payables

What You Do

  • Process vendor invoices
  • Process Third Party Provider/outside broker commissions
  • Review and process employee expense reimbursement requests
  • Monitor accounts payable email address
  • Ensure proper approvals for all invoices, expense reports and payment requests
  • Ensure adherence to MMA compliance rules/regulations
  • Additional responsibilities necessary to successfully complete role
  • Any other duties that may be assigned

Your Education and Experience

Required

  • College degree or 3+ years of previous accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
  • Prior success and experience operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must have strong technical skills
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft products, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Concur Invoice and/or Expense or Oracle software a plus

The applicable base salary range for this role is $45,400 to $79,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
