Job summary

The Management Trust is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Irvine, CA. This role provides high-impact accounting support and ensures meticulous communications with Boards, homeowners, and employee-owners.

The position reports to the Division Controller and follows a Monday–Friday schedule as a full-time, non-exempt role. You will manage monthly ACH drafts, resolve A/R matters, and coordinate with homeowners, vendors, and the HOA attorney(s) as needed, while maintaining accuracy and timely

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Ability to learn new accounting software quickly.
  • Knowledge of general ledgers and financial reporting.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with internal personnel, homeowners, vendors, etc. professionally.
  • Process monthly ACH drafts for homeowner payments.
  • Research and resolve outstanding A/R matters.
  • Respond to homeowner calls and emails regarding payment status.
  • Print and distribute homeowner statements.
  • Serve as point of contact for all lockbox needs.
  • Support HOA attorney(s) as requested.
  • Process credit requests per Board and Division Leadership.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
