CAL FIRE is seeking an Accounting Officer (Specialist) for the LEAP program. The role reports to an Accounting Administrator and involves professional accounting duties, ledger maintenance, and financial report analysis.

Incumbents perform average-difficulty tasks, may lead Accountant Trainees, and must meet fidelity bond qualifications. The position is based in California with the department handling position locations as listed in the eligible info.

Formación

• Professional accounting duties of average difficulty in maintaining accounts and financial records.
• Prepare, review and analyze financial reports, statements, accounts and records and maintain the General Ledgers.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the General Ledgers and reconcile the General Ledger to SCO.
• Review expenditures against allotments and analyze financial data.
• Interact with program managers, control agencies, vendors, and the public as needed.
