The role requires an Associate degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant experience; advanced Excel skills; and experience handling high‑volume transactions in a fast-paced environment at a major research university.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related discipline or equivalent; 2+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent; degree in Accounting or finance
• Experience managing high-volume transaction processing in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management
• Entry level background in accounting, finance, and financial operations

Responsabilités

• Research and ensure fund accounting procedures comply with laws and university policy
• Audit, analyze, verify fiscal records; prepare reports; reconcile general ledger accounts; assist in budgets
• Review accounts for proper handling of transactions in designated area
• Data entry for designated accounts; audit and review for accuracy
• Serve as resource to departments and outside agencies; provide information and assist with resolution of problems
• Assist with annual audit of accounting records; liaise with auditors
• May perform reception, scheduling, and records maintenance
• Maintain current knowledge and implement university policies and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
