The Accounting Specialist is a full-time, on-site role in Tampa, FL covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, and job costing. On the receivable side it prepares and sends production invoices and payment applications, including AIA-style pay applications, posts payments, manages aging, and works past‑due accounts while coordinating lien deadlines with the office. On the payable side it enters vendor and supplier invoices, matches them to purchase orders and receiving, and processes weekly payment runs. The role codes costs to jobs so reported margin is accurate, reconciles bank and credit card statements, supports month‑end close, tracks subcontractor compliance including W‑9s, insurance certificates, and lien waivers, and supports payroll and financial reporting.
