Job summary

CU*Answers is seeking an Accounting Services Manager to lead the Earnings Edge Accounting Services team and oversee daily operations. You will work directly with credit union clients, support conversions, and drive improvements in accounting processes.

You will manage budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and back-office needs, while coaching staff, setting goals, and delivering timely results. This hands-on leadership role requires travel and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 2+ years of equivalent business-related experience.
• 1–2 years of experience managing, coaching, or developing employees.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting practices, financial reporting, and computerized accounting systems.
• Experience preparing and working with NCUA 5300 Call Reports is required.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to support your team.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 3–4 times per year.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

• Improve department processes, procedures, and training to help the team work more effectively.
• Partner with internal teams to improve accounting services, software features, and the client experience.
• Support client training, presentations, and business development opportunities.

What You Bring
