Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Senior to join the CAAS Manufacturing Industry group with offices in Peoria, IL; Champaign, IL; Bloomington, IL; Oak Brook, IL; Green Bay, WI; or Appleton, WI. The role focuses on servicing manufacturing clients through robust accounting processes and multi-client coordination.

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops an understanding of each client’s business/operations. Manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals). Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements. Reviews general ledger, cash flow, allocations, etc.
• Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other items as requested by clients.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts. Supervise and ensure efficiency and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts.
• Assists with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Develops an understanding of each client’s business/operations. Manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Month End Processing: Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals). Completes complex reconciliations (investments, debt, industry-specific). Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements. Reviews general ledger, cash flow, allocations, etc. Proactively creates process and procedure documentation and builds back-up.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other items as requested by clients.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts. Supervise and ensure efficiency and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts.
• Special Projects: Assists with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.

Compensation & Benefits

The wage range for this position in Illinois is: $65,100.00 - 117,000.00
