Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking a Senior to join our CAAS group supporting the Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry, based out of Green Bay WI or Appleton WI.

Key responsibilities include client service, day-to-day transactions, month-end processing, and preparing workpapers. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of accounting/financial experience, with potential for combined experience to substitute for education.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops an understanding of each client's business/organization operations; manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
• Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll postings.
• Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations and prepares financial statements; reviews general ledger, cash flow, allocations, etc.
• Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers and tax workpapers for clients.
• Oversees workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts; supervises staff.
• Assists with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.

CLA is currently seeking a Senior to join our CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) group supporting our Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry based out of our Green Bay WI or Appleton WI office.

Job Responsibilities

• Client Service: Develops an understanding of each client's business/organization operations. Competent in management of multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Month End Processing: Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (i.e. prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.) Completes complex account reconciliations (investments, debt, industry specific, etc.) Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements (basic to complex.) Reviews general ledger, cashflow, allocations, etc. Proactively creates process and procedure documentation and builds their own backup.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and preparing audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other forms or items as requested by clients.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts. Supervise and ensure the efficiency and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts.
• Special Projects: Assists with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
