Job summary

NWU is seeking a junior or student-level tax associate to support a team covering diverse tax specialty areas, including income taxes, corporate tax, credits, and not-for-profit issues. Responsibilities include planning, research, and preparing federal and state tax returns.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of 90 credit hours.
• Working towards a BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• Accounting major.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations with reliable transportation.
• Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively on a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
