Job summary

Amazon Leo invites an entrepreneurial Accounting Manager to join its ground-floor initiative in Culver City. You will own end-to-end accounting processes, guide complex financial decisions, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and close the books accurately each month.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance or related analytical field.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA certification.
• COSO knowledge to assess control design and operations.
• FASB/GAAP research tools experience.
• Big Four accounting management with Fortune 500 clients.
• Experience in satellite internet or telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects, provide accounting guidance, and be the primary contact for finance partners.
• Own end-to-end processes across accounting and reporting.
• Research and memorialize technical accounting positions for new initiatives.
• Assess internal control design and influence systems/processes.
• Ensure accurate monthly close and reporting.
• Analyze complex processes and data for improvements.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive positive change.
• Lead delivery of accounting tasks and collaborate with IT and business teams.
• Prioritize amidst ambiguity and escalate risks to leadership.
