Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice, Florida is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting department, ensure accurate financial records, and support club leadership. The role involves safeguarding confidential information and delivering high-quality financial reporting for members and staff.

The position covers accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and comprehensive financial analysis in a private club environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in private country club, hospitality, or membership-based organization is a plus.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reconciliations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily accounting department operations and ensure compliance with procedures and laws.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Assist Controller with bank reconciliations, month-end closings, and financial reporting.
• Process member accounts receivable, including monthly ACH and credit card autopayments.
• Process weekly vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, and member information.
