The Accounting Manager oversees and supports the district’s accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable, payroll accounting, fixed asset accounting, bond accounting, and financial reporting. Under the guidance of the Controller, this role ensures accurate general ledger coding and reporting in line with the State of Oklahoma Cost Accounting System (OCAS) requirements. The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent financial information, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting compliance with Board policies, district business practices, state and federal regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
