Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
4+ years in accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (LOOKUP, pivot tables).
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting software.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
Maintain fixed asset register and prepare monthly depreciation journal entries.
Participate in month/quarter/year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
File periodic tax returns (Sales and Use, Unsecured property).
Evaluate, document and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance financial operations.
Develop and coach small team of direct reports inclusive of employee reviews, goal setting and training.
Perform ad hoc reviews and analysis, as needed.
