Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking an hands-on Accounting Manager in Kennesaw, GA to lead core accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and support a growing organization through process improvements and system utilization.

The role is based in Kennesaw with a hybrid schedule: four days in the office and one day remote. The position offers up to $120,000 salary plus bonus and three weeks of vacation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Proven experience in a hands-on accounting leadership role.
• Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a resourceful mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations, including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Utilize Sage Intacct to manage and streamline accounting processes.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Mentor and collaborate with team members to foster a strong team environment.
• Leverage advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and process improvements.
