Job summary

LHH in Dallas seeks an Accounting Manager to lead a fast-paced, growth-focused service organization. You will oversee daily accounting operations, drive the monthly and annual close, and mentor a team while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve reporting quality.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office) with a 130K–135K base plus bonus and exposure to ERP systems like Workday. CPA-eligible is preferred and strong GAAP knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial close experience.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Lead the monthly and annual close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Manage revenue recognition, accruals, and expense allocations in a high-volume environment.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while remaining actively involved in day-to-day activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
• Support audit activities, including preparation and response to external audit requests.
• Assist with ERP system management, enhancements, and implementations.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
