The Accounting Manager coordinates, directs, and works closely with a team of accounting professionals to oversee the organization's daily financial operations, including general ledger accounting, cash management, contributed and earned revenue, accounts payable, payroll accounting, and grant compliance.
This is a highly technical, hands‑on role responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records while supporting audit readiness and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Leveraging Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT, the Accounting Manager will oversee complex balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, lease accounting, investment activity, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced nonprofit environment.
This is a full‑time, exempt position with a hybrid work schedule. Employees are expected to work three days remotely and two days in the office (Wednesdays and Thursdays). The work schedule may be modified at the discretion of the organization based on operational needs.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
