Job summary

FS2 Group, LLC in Appleton, WI seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee procurement, inventory, and operational accounting across domestic and international activities. Lead month‑end close, cash forecasting, and tax compliance while improving internal controls and reporting.

Responsibilities include managing PO/billing processes, intercompany reconciliations, and cross‑functional collaboration with operations to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial information.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience with procurement, inventory, and operational accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with month-end close and both domestic and international procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, distribution, and inventory accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor PO activity, including international purchases, landed cost considerations, and cost allocations.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate job costing, inventory valuation, and margin reporting.
• Process and review vendor invoices and ensure three‑way matching with PO terms.
• Assist with billing and customer invoicing to support timely revenue recognition.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closes with journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Reconcile key accounts including intercompany balances and inventory.
