Job summary

LeoForce in Southern California is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting department and oversee cash applications, reconciliation, budgeting, and reporting. This permanent role focuses on financial planning and ensuring compliance with standards across the organization.

You will direct audits, coordinate with external auditors, and mentor the accounting team to optimize processes and accuracy. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• A minimum of 5 years in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the Sales industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including cash applications and cash reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including cash applications and cash reconciliation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and monthly closings.
• Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage the budgeting process and prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and provide financial advice to management.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
• Provide leadership and support to the accounting team.
