Job summary

RNInk in Stockbridge, GA is seeking an Accounting Manager– Commercial Construction / Project-Based Business, a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and directly support the owner in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You will supervise a three-person team, manage month-end close, project costing, financial reporting, and collaborate with project managers, accounting staff, and external partners to drive efficiencies and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Prior experience supervising or leading accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, GL, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Construction, specialty contracting, installation or other project/job-cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Highly tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new software and systems.
• Hands-on, organized and comfortable working directly with an entrepreneurial owner.
• Able to lead, delegate and improve processes while still stepping into the details when necessary.

Responsibilities

Accounting Manager– Commercial Construction / Project-Based Business
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 DOE | Full-Time | On-Site

A growing, privately held, owner-led company in the commercial construction/specialty contracting industry is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead its accounting operations. The company has experienced significant growth and is currently in the approximately $10M–$15M revenue range.

This position reports directly to the owner and manages a three-person accounting team. The ideal candidate is comfortable both leading the accounting function and remaining involved in day-to-day operations. This is not a large corporate Controller role; the successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working closely with ownership, accounting staff and project teams in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
