Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead cash and revenue accounting, oversee the close, and drive process improvements in a hybrid Charlotte, NC environment.

You will mentor a growing team, partner with Treasury and FP&A, and ensure SOX controls, journal entries, and reconciliations are accurately completed on a timely basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and revenue accounting activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and close deliverables.
• Lead resolution of complex or aged reconciling items and accounting discrepancies.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members.
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Partner with Treasury, FP&A, AR/AP, Tax, Financial Reporting, Systems, and other teams.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and close improvement.
• Communicate accounting risks and issues clearly to leadership.

Accounting Manager - Cash & Revenue

Charlotte, NC | Hybrid

We are partnering with a large, complex organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager - Cash & Revenue to join its accounting leadership team. This individual will oversee accounting activities related to cash, revenue, and associated balance sheets while leading team members and supporting a timely and accurate close.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader with strong technical fundamentals, disciplined review skills, and the ability to improve processes while partnering across Finance and Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities related to cash and revenue.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and close deliverables.
• Lead resolution of complex or aged reconciling items and accounting discrepancies.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members.
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Partner with Treasury, FP&A, AR/AP, Tax, Financial Reporting, Systems, and other teams.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and close improvement.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cash accounting, revenue accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience within a SOX-controlled environment.
• Prior leadership or team supervision experience.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• Public accounting and/or public company experience preferred.
• Experience with complex, multi-entity environments is a plus.
