E-Space is actively seeking an Accounting Manager to drive month-end close, budget planning, and global financial reporting from its Arlington, TX office. The role involves handling federal, state, and international tax compliance, and coordinating with external auditors and tax firms.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of experience, GAAP expertise, FP&A and auditing background, and be ready to scale processes for a high-growth space-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting/FP&A.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting.
• Experience with FP&A and auditing.
• Experience with tax returns.
• Strong work ethic and execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close and financial reporting.

• Take full charge of the global annual budget, long-range planning, budget vs. actual variance analysis, and special modeling and analysis.
• Serve as the primary contributor to auditing.
• Assist with ERP system integration.
• Hire, train, and retain skilled accounting staff.
• Effectively manage key service providers, including external auditors, banks, tax firms, payroll providers, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and executives to provide meaningful information for evaluating operations and plans.
• Lead special projects as needed.

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the CFO and advise executive leadership on critical financial decisions. Initially, this role will require a significant amount of hands‑on work, but with ample prospects for progress and growth over time. Main responsibilities will include month end close, budget, variance analysis, auditing, income tax, international consolidation, financial reporting, ERP system integration, and implementing scalable systems and processes to support our continued expansion.

The successful candidate will have experience managing accounting, tax, and FP&A in an international and production environment and an eagerness to solve challenging problems, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and regulations in a dynamic environment.

• Assist in developing and implementing goals, policies, and procedures for accounting and financial management
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and executives to provide meaningful information for evaluating operations and plans

What you bring to this role:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Experience with FP&A
• Experience with auditing
• Experience with tax returns
• A strong work ethic, excellent execution capabilities, and a can‑do attitude

Bonus points for following:

• Previous major ERP system integration experience
• You have experience in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of cost accounting
• Big 4 or other major CPA firm experience
• Work experience in space, aerospace,or telecommunications sectors and/or start-up environment(s)
• Proven ability to implement scalable processes and systems in a high-growth corporate environment
• Understanding of IFRS accounting principles, along with proper control structures for US/European entities

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX office. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in‑orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow‑ed.
