CVS Health is seeking an Accounting Manager for the Omnicare operations in Ohio. You will lead day-to-day accounting, close processes, and financial reporting while ensuring internal controls and compliance with GAAP and SOX.

This role partners with the Controller to shape a scalable accounting organization during a pivotal transition. Responsibilities include managing month-end close, GL, fixed assets, and ERP systems, with a focus on transformation readiness as Omnicare stands alone.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and financial reporting.
• Experience managing month-end close and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger and close processes.
• Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, fixed assets and internal controls.
• Manage ERP and GL support, accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Controller to build scalable accounting organization and standalone readiness.

Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day accounting operations, including:

• General Ledger Accounting
• Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Close
• Financial Reporting
• Account Reconciliations
• Fixed Assets
• Accounting Systems Administration
• ERP and General Ledger Support
• Accounting Policies and Procedures
• Internal Controls Execution and Compliance
• External Audit Support
• Team Leadership and Development
• Standalone Readiness and Accounting Process Transformation

This leader will partner closely with the Controller to build a scalable, efficient accounting organization and establish the processes, controls, and systems needed to support Omnicare as an independent company.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience with and a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and financial reporting.
• Experience managing month-end close processes and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, provider, or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or accounting system transformations including Oracle NetSuite.
• Experience in stand-alone company, carve-out, private equity, or transformation environments.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred; CPA candidate considered.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $165,954.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
