Purpose: JBC Technologies, Inc. is a progressive die cut manufacturer that pushes industry boundaries and expands what can be expected of a die cutting manufacturer. The company is growing and has an immediate need to expand its management staff with an experienced Accountant. This position will report to the CFO. This is a hands-on role with growth potential that requires strategic thinking and management of accounting and finance activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the monthly close, general ledger accounting, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP guidelines.
• Perform analysis of operating results and drive financial growth.
• Develop and drive short- and long-term strategic plans.
• Manage treasury functions, including cash flow projections and banking relationships.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls.
• Prepare all required state and local tax information for Outside accounting firm.
• Work closely with the CFO and Management staff on financial evaluation and recommendations on new business opportunities and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasting and budgets to support cash management needs and improved profitability.
• Develop reports to provide critical financial and operational information.

Education and Experience:

• BS in Accounting/Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of business and accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry background required.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; ERP system experience required with conversion experience a plus.
• Proven leadership skills and presentation skills.
• Ability to Multi-Task in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the company.

Work Schedule:

• Normal Schedule – 8 am to 5 pm; Monday thru Friday; May vary with business needs.
• Work performed in a plant/production environment.
• Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise.
• Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervision.
