Job summary

CRH is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial information integrity and compliant processes. The role reports to the VP of Finance and supports budgeting, audits, and corporate requirements; you will provide reporting, analysis, and collaborate with business unit leaders to drive improvements and profitability.

The position is on site at CRH's Irving, TX corporate office, with responsibilities spanning internal controls, inventory management, and capex reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5+ years in general accounting/finance incl. budgets, P&L, and SOX.
• CPA preferred and strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge is required.
• Experience with forecasting, financial statement prep, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial objectives and policies and improve efficiencies.
• Prepare reports forecasting activity and financial position.
• Maintain budgets/docs and assist audits including internal/external.
• Manage fixed assets and CAPEX reporting; ensure data integrity.

Job Summary

As the Accounting Manager, this person will also be responsible for the integrity and performance of accounting information and compliant business processes. The position reports to the VP of Finance. In addition, this position provides financial support to the business Senior Leadership Team, ensuring sound business processes and controls are in place to meet company objectives. The Accounting Manager will help lead the Finance team in preparation and managing the annual budget process, audits, and other corporate requirements. This is a key position that will provide reporting and analysis, identify trends and collaborate with other business unit leaders to implement process improvements and improve profitability.

Job Location

This position is on site at our corporate office in Irving, TX.

Job Responsibilities

• Recommends and oversees financial objectives, and policies
• Recommends and implements improvement to efficiencies of financial processes
• Prepares reports to forecast business activity and financial position
• Prepares, oversees, and maintains documentation related to budgets and other related financial activity
• Maintains internal controls to safeguard and mitigate risk to company assets including inventory management
• Plans and supports physical inventory audits
• Support operational leadership through financial reporting and analysis.
• Supports all aspects of internal and external audits
• Responsible for fixed asset and CAPEX reporting
• Responsible for ensuring the integrity and compiling of data required by regional, corporate, and regulatory agencies
• Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities
• Training and development of other team members
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting/finance areas/cost accounting, including but not limited to budgets, legal compliance, P&L, SFAS Rules in a manufacturing environment
• CPA preferred
• Demonstrated experience with financial forecasting, and financial statement preparation
• Must have strong analytical and supervisory skills
• Demonstrated Experience with GAAP, IFRS, SOX, cost accounting, inventory management and forecasting
• Previous Supervisory Experience is a plus
• Up to 15% travel
• Computer skills: Accounting Software, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, BI Tools
