Performance Food Group (New) is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Englewood, Colorado. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading financial processes, supporting contract management, and driving continuous improvements.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, over 5 years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of GAAP. Leadership skills and experience managing an accounting team are strongly preferred.
The Accounting Manager will drive consistent and accurate financial processes for the area of responsibility and directly supports the accurate management of supplier and customer contracts. This position plays a crucial role in the evaluation of contracts for payments to customers and receipt of payments from suppliers in various negotiated programs. In leading a team, the Accounting Manager role will identify and develop value-added financial reports, identify financial risks and opportunities, ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, and drive key initiatives. This role is expected to identify process improvements, recommend solutions, and manage their execution while providing leadership and direction to a team of 1 or more accountants. The Accounting Manager will function as a team member within the organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best fit the needs of the company.
