We have established lasting relationships with many residential, commercial, and industrial utility customers. We are a unique electrical contractor due to the fact that we perform so many different types of electrical work. We perform residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work, including sports lighting, airport lighting, traffic signal, underground systems, pole-line, and utility work. With over 120 employees and 300 pieces of equipment, there is no job too small or too large for Jess Howard Electric Company.
We are looking for an Accounting Manager who wants the opportunity to learn an accounting operation from the ground up, take on increasing responsibility, and grow into a key leadership role within the department. In this role, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of the accounting department while taking ownership of key accounting responsibilities, including:

You’ll gain exposure to accounting operations across a commercial construction business. As you demonstrate your capabilities and develop a strong understanding of the department, you’ll have the opportunity to take on increased leadership and financial responsibilities. For the right person, this role can provide a path toward future Assistant Controller, Controller, or other senior accounting leadership responsibilities.
