Job summary

Air Products is offering a full-time spring Accounting Co-op / Internship to develop practical experience in an accounting or finance role. The program covers SOX controls testing, cross-functional audits, and exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC ERP systems.

Qualified students are sophomores or juniors with a 3.3 GPA, pursuing a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, and possessing leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Relocation to PA-Allentown may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.
• Current student in their sophomore or junior year pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Inquisitive mindset.
• Experience with data analytics tool (preferred).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• SOX controls testing with external auditors and management to assess internal controls.
• Tests of compliance across Financial Reporting, Taxes, Payroll, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Requisition-to-Pay.
• Exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC ERP systems.
• Execute audit programs and prepare work papers documenting testing conclusions.
