Arch Capital Group in Greensboro, NC offers an internship in Finance where students gain hands-on experience with the insurance industry. You will work on month-end close tasks, GAAP/statutory reporting, and mortgage insurance statements while collaborating with tax and compliance teams.

The program runs January–April 2027 with onboarding in December 2025 prior to holidays. It is a hybrid role, 15–20 hours/week, 1+ day onsite and 1–2 days remote, with an hourly wage of $24 and eligible Arch

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing Accounting or Finance degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Junior or Senior student with graduation between May 2027 and December 2027.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the month-end close: prepare journal entries, update monthly reporting files, and perform account reconciliations.
• Support GAAP and Statutory financial statement preparation within reporting timelines.
• Contribute to creating annual statement pages (Yellowbooks) for Mortgage Insurance companies.
• Prepare premium tax returns for selected states and MI companies under guidance of tax team.
• Collaborate with compliance to support year-end state filing requirements.
• Participate in a long-term Finance department process-improvement or automation project.
• Deliver a final presentation summarizing internship experience and project outcomes.
