Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; must have completed at least two years of college.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
• Familiarity with automation tools and AI (Alteryx, MS Copilot).
• Prior internship or professional work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform data validation and support documentation for audit/compliance.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, including automation of routine accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with accounting team to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
• Document procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Develop an understanding of multiple accounting functions with a focus on manufacturing processes.
