Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is seeking a Finance/Accounting intern to join our team in North Charleston, SC. The intern will handle a wide range of duties including internal controls, accounts receivable and payable support, and preparation of presentations.

Responsibilities include supporting the payment processing team, documenting training materials, and completing special projects as needed. Applicants should be pursuing or recently holding a degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting,

• Pursuing or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Mercedes-Benz Vans is looking for a Finance/Accounting intern. The applicant filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Internal controls implementation and verification
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Assist in preparation of presentations
• Support the payment processing team
• Documentation of training materials
• Complete special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors in pursuit of their Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or having graduated within the past 12 months.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.

Learn or improve the German language; cultural exchange with German interns.

Applicants should be eager, driven, focused, hard-working individuals that are ready to assist a growing company with handling a complex multi-million dollar project. The individual should be self-motivated and interested in adding value and making a difference within an organization.

• Hourly pay rate of $20.00hr for our internship program

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (“MBV Charleston”) is a Ladson, South Carolina-based production entity that manufactures Sprinter vans for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
