HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX is seeking a Summer 2027 Accounting Intern who will assist Accountants by performing routine accounting assignments under close supervision.

The role involves preparing statements and reports, maintaining files, performing financial analysis, processing credit card reports, and supporting revenue accounting. Office-based position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting or finance.

Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX is seeking a Summer 2027 Accounting Intern who will assist Accountants by performing routine accounting assignments under close supervision.

Job Duties

• Prepares various accounting statements and reports
• Reviews, updates, and maintains files daily/monthly
• Performs accounting and financial analysis
• Processes credit card file reports
• Invoice marketers
• Measures volumes and track actual vs. scheduled volumes by site
• Make accounting entries
• Track and enter all master file additions, changes, de-branding

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Education Level

Some completed courses needed for a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in accounting or finance are required .

REQUIRED SKILLS

Able to perform some basic accounting analysis and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Basic knowledge of Microsoft products, Entry-level understanding of accounting practices and procedures. Intermediate reading and writing skills. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.

EXPERIENCE with accounting and maintenance software, and experience in revenue accounting is preferred.
