Job Description Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. Job Description Summary The Accounting Intern is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining financial records to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. This role supports various accounting functions through journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting with a focus on compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and communicates effectively across teams.

Act as a team member within the Cox Automotive Corporate Accounting Team

  • Analyze data and perform computations for financial statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy of balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of balance reconciliations.
  • Perform ad hoc special projects.
