Cleveland State Community College seeks an Accounting Instructor on a 9/10 month tenure-track basis to teach daytime courses in the Accounting department.

The role emphasizes strong classroom instruction, advising, and participation in college service, with on-site duties at the Cleveland, Tennessee campus. A Master’s degree and relevant credentials are required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in qualifying coursework relevant to the teaching discipline.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and teach classes as assigned in accordance with course descriptions, syllabi, guidelines, and formats (on-site and online as applicable).
• Fulfill all instructional requirements required by Cleveland State Community College and the Tennessee Board of Regents.
• Remain current in the instructional field and in effective teaching methodologies.
• Devote a minimum of 37.5 hours per week to the institution, maintain office hours, and obtain approval for any commitments.
• Be accessible to students for advising, academic assistance, and support based on instructional format.
• Participate in division, student, and academic year evaluations as required.
• Support and participate in recruitment and retention efforts.
