Job summary

Lone Star College seeks an experienced accounting instructor to teach courses across the accounting curriculum and contribute to the college’s educational environment. The faculty member will plan, develop and deliver engaging lessons, assess student learning and collaborate with colleagues to support student success.

A Master’s degree in Accounting or related field is required, with 18 graduate hours in Accounting; CPA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Accounting courses at various times and locations based on institutional needs.
• Develops and uses syllabi within college guidelines.
• Implements diverse teaching methods to meet different learning styles.
• Evaluates student progress and provides timely feedback.
• Maintains professional relationships with students and colleagues.
