Baylands Family Credit Union in West Point, VA is seeking an experienced Accounting & Electronic Services Manager. Reporting to the CEO, this hands-on role leads accounting, financial reporting, and electronic services, advancing the department and staff.

The position is ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to move into management and credit union operations. The role oversees GL reconciliations, regulatory reporting, ALM/ALCO, audits, and electronic services (ACH, debit,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Two+ years of progressive professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience in a complex general ledger environment with high-volume accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, research discrepancies, and support month-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting.
• Coordinate cash management, investments, borrowing, and liquidity with the CEO.
• Support ALM and ALCO reporting and regulatory reporting (NCUA Call Report).
• Provide information for audits and regulatory examinations; maintain internal controls.
