Support our Nordic global organization with general ledger accounting, review, and analysis in the preparation of GAAP financial statements. Assist and support the global accounting team with month end close and year end audit.

Essential Functions

• Month End Close
  • Own the accounting month end closing process globally.
  • Review and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, with special emphasis on month-to-month trends.
  • Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through reconciliation, validation, and data analysis.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation review of requested balance sheet accounts.
• Audit & Tax
  • Responsible for acting as a liaison with external auditors and tax professionals during annual audits and tax filings.
  • Assist in preparation for global annual financial statement audit and periodic bank audits; ensure appropriate support for all financial information reflected in general ledger.
• Team Management
  • Manage day-to-day delivery of team services to meet specific needs of the business.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on financial matters.
  • Must be a proven, hands-on team player driven to meet company goals; ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Coaching, teaching and developing of team members including evaluating the performance of Accounting team members.
• Other
  • Recommend, design, and assist with implementing any department controls.
  • Occasional preparation of technical accounting memorandums.
  • Review and maintain proper revenue recognition treatment in line with ASC 606 guidelines.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from accredited college or university preferred and 7-10 years of accounting work experience. Bachelor’s degree in Finance will be considered with requisite accounting work experience.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and finance concepts.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Workdayaccounting software and MS Excel andWord.
• Strong intuitive and analytic/problem-solving skills.

• Travel up to 10% of the time
