Position Overview: The Accounting Continuous Improvement Manager is a hybrid role based in our Telford, PA office. The successful candidate will have a strong finance background to lead the optimization of our multi-platform SAP environment and related systems and processes. The role involves driving Six Sigma initiatives to streamline operations, reduce manual workarounds, and develop efficient, data-driven processes. Collaboration across finance, operations, IT, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure alignment, reduce redundancies, and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Analysis & Redesign: Evaluate current finance processes, data flows, and system integrations within multiple SAP platforms. Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and manual workarounds; create standardized procedures to eliminate inefficiencies.
  2. Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement: Apply Six Sigma or similar methodologies to design, measure, analyze, and improve processes. Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and workshops to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  3. SAP Optimization: Collaborate with IT and functional teams to harmonize SAP configurations, modules, and interfaces. Recommend and implement best practices for data governance, system integrations, and end-user training.
  4. Data Stewardship & Governance: Establish clear ownership of data sources and processes, ensuring accurate and consistent financial reporting. Implement controls to maintain high data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
  5. Project & Stakeholder Management: Plan, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives with measurable goals. Communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders, managing risks and resolving issues proactively.
  6. Change Management & Training: Develop training materials to support new processes and systems, ensuring effective adoption. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related process improvement field
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (medical device industry experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in SAP (multiple modules/platforms) with a track record of process automation and optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel or data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent experience leading data-driven process improvements
  • Familiarity with Lean principles, Kaizen events, or other continuous improvement methodologies

This role is based at our Telford, PA facility, which offers walking trails, an onsite fitness center with classes, a self-service café, and a state-of-the-art Design Center. Telford is our US manufacturing site for Neonatal and Safety products, and the key location for US functions including Medical Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality, and Finance.
