Job summary

Eagle Bank is seeking an accounting professional to maintain records, perform reconciliations, and manage full-cycle accounts payable. The role supports the Accounting department with data interpretation and input to the general ledger.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in Finance/Accounting and at least two years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services, with strong Excel and Prologue General Ledger skills.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent training.
• Minimum two years’ accounting experience; financial institution accounting preferred.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills; able to interact with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accounting records and supports Accounting with reconciliations and general ledger entries.
• Administers full-cycle Accounts Payable; pays invoices accurately and promptly.
• Audits vendor invoices and expense reimbursements for accuracy; codes payments to proper accounts.
• Processes pre-paid and fixed asset transactions; reviews variance in reconciliations.
• Acts as AP processor and backup for Accounting Associate; seeks process improvements.
