Job summary

CLA is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS Manufacturing Industry team based out of our Boston MA or Quincy MA office. You will support multiple clients with daily and monthly transactions and assist with month-end close.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and accounting/financial experience; compensation ranges from $63,200 to $104,000 in Massachusetts, with comprehensive benefits and wellness options.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: manage multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly.
• Day to Day Transactions: coordinate & process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: complete financial statements and reconciliations (bank, credit card, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals).
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other client items.
