Affinity Group, a fast-growing food sales and marketing agency, seeks an Accounting Associate in Charlotte, NC. The role supports multiple regions, handles AR/AP, reconciliations, and treasury tasks, and collaborates with AI tools to increase efficiency.

A bachelor's in accounting/finance is required and candidates fresh out of college are welcome. The position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) with Health & Wellness benefits, a 401(k), ESOP, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels; AI drafting tools experience.
• Fundamental accounting concepts; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Input transactions and verify payments; validate credits.
• Manage AR/AP cycle with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly closeouts, reconciliations, and treasury support.
• Draft communications and respond to department emails; leverage AI drafting.
• Work with AI tools (Copilot/ Claude) to improve workflow.
