Job summary

CLA, CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC, in Wisconsin, is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS Manufacturing Industry team from Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Eau Claire or Wausau offices. This role focuses on delivering client accounting and advisory services to manufacturing clients and requires strong attention to detail and professionalism.

You will support day-to-day transactions including accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience in CAAS or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Complete month-end financial statements.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals reconciliations.
• Complete complex reconciliations with Senior Associate, Assistant Controller, Controller, or CFO.
• Prepare sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other client forms.

CLA is currently seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) supporting our Manufacturing Industry team based out of our Milwaukee WI, Madison WI, Green Bay WI, Eau Claire WI or Wausau WI office.

Job Responsibilities

• Client Service: Gains ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: Completes financial statements.
• Coordinates and completes account reconciliations (i.e. bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals.)
• Completes complex account reconciliations that have been previously set up and supported by Senior Associate, Assistant Controller, Controller or CFO.
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms or items as requested by clients.

Job Requirements

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
