Job summary

Solina USA Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage the receivables process and support financial statements through accurate posting and timely cash application.

The role collaborates with sales and customer service to resolve deductions and past due balances, while maintaining cash receipt files. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years in accounting or AR, proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and strong organization to work under pressure in a dynamic, DEI-conscious team

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting, Accounts Receivable or Administrative/Clerical role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply cash postings to client accounts accurately and timely.
• Process credit/debit memos and RMAs as necessary.
• Contact customers or sales personnel to follow up on deductions and past due balances.
• Maintain files of daily cash receipts.
• Respond to customer service and sales inquiries.
• Back up to Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Assist with invoice uploads into customer portals.
• Contribute to other projects as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

The position summary states the general nature and purpose of the job. Overall accountabilities are defined in this section. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the accounts receivable process. A solid understanding of how the accounts receivable process impacts financial statements is needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS

• Accurately timely application of posting cash to client accounts.
• Processes credit/debit memos and RMA’s as necessary.
• Contacts Customers and/or sales personnel when necessary to follow-up on deductions and past due balances.
• Maintains files of daily cash receipts.
• Responds to customer service and sales personnel inquiries.
• Assists as backup to A/P Clerk.
• Assist with invoice uploads into customer portals Assists in other various projects as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines; self-directed. Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
