Job summary

  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Accounting education is helpful, but practical accounting experience is most important.

Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Research and troubleshoot invoice, payment, and accounting issues.
  • Work closely with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Process electronic payments and manage cash receipt activity.
  • Ensure transactions comply with internal controls and company policies.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and technology initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects and month-end accounting activities.

Pepper's corporate office is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our growing accounting team based in our Barrington, IL office.

Please note: Only local candidates will be considered.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation who enjoys digging into details, resolving issues, and supporting critical financial processes. You\'ll work across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and electronic payment systems while helping drive efficiency through technology and process improvements.

What You\'ll Do
